ITB 2016, The big event of international tourism was held in Berlin from 9 to 13 March.

The fair at its 50th Edition has recalled its 50 years of history while it allowed to discover new trends, products, concepts and opportunities for cooperation. All the actors of the sector: countries, destinations, tour operators, airlines, reservation systems, hotels,… have been present with booths that showed their products and services exploring increasingly specialised market niches.

Within the proposals of Latin America who bet on nature and contact with local communities, in the stand of Honduras highlighted the innovative proposal “Coffee Route”, where tourists can visit plantations and discover the process of this product. Nicaragua promoted sustainable and responsible tourism that generates an encounter between cultures and maximize the visitor’s experience at its stand. Guatemala exhibited its tourist attractions on a large screen which invited visitors to enjoy its archaeological heritage and amazing nature.

The airlines were also present with Designer stands as Etihad, national company of the United Arab Emirates, which has become in a few years as one of the best airlines in the world. And Avianca which participated with an original stand which attracted lots of visitors.

Bespoke Stand for Argentina at ITB Berlin 2015

Inaugurated the exhibition ITB Berlin 2015, Argentina is showing its country tourist trends at this fair with a spectacular bespoke stand. The biggest challenge of the stand has been to give it a shocking and attractive image at the same time giving room to a highly diversified product offering.

The aim has been achieved thanks to the distribution of space in different functional areas.

LGTB Argentina also participates in ITB and it offers an elegant image with a stand that matches the tourism message that wants to convey, while it responds to all the needs of exhibitors and visitors at the fair.

México and Honduras stands at ITB Berlin 2013

Bauhaus Artes y Oficios has colaborated in the design and construction of several stands in Germany most important tourism fair ITB Berlin 2013. With a participation of more than 10,000 exhibitors from 180 countries, has been meeting point for the latest trends in the global tourism sector that brought together agencies, organizers, suppliers and partners associated with the travel.

One of the biggest challenges for the design of these stands was to play the tourist country message in an architectural structure that was all functional needs.

Mexico is participating in this important forum of business, with a stand of 650 square meters in which 63 exhibitors displayed the diversity of the offer of the tourist destinations of the country.

Honduras takes part with a stand featuring a replica of the stairway of the hieroglyphs, located in the Archaeological Park of Copan Ruinas, as an option to know the maya world. The Honduran Tourism offered at ITB is a mixture of nature and cultural heritage that “convert to Honduras in a potential tourist destination”
